City Walk Basel
See Basel through different eyes.
Our blind and visually impaired guides will lead you through a Basel you haven’t known before, drawing your attention to things that usually remain hidden from sighted people.
During the approximately two-hour tours, they share their personal stories, show you the contact points for the visually impaired and blind, and present the work of these important institutions.
As a participant, you’ll gain a direct insight into your guides’ everyday life and experience first-hand the challenges they face day after day.
Participation conditions for groups:
You let us know your preferred date, time and number of people via the completed online form or by phone. The booking is only confirmed once you receive written confirmation from blindekuh. The walk is especially suitable for companies, clubs, schools or other interested organisations.
- Bookable between Wednesday and Friday
- The maximum group size is 15 people.
- Cost for a private group: CHF 350.–
We would be happy to reserve a table for you at blindekuh Basel afterwards
Requirement for the city walk
Each participant must have a valid BVB ticket for a minimum of 2 hours, City of Basel, Zone 10. The procurement of tickets is not the responsibility of blindekuh.

Once we receive your enquiry, we’ll get in touch to either confirm your preferred date or suggest an alternative date.
