General Terms and Conditions (GTC) for City Tours in Zurich

The provider of the city tours in Zurich is Restaurant blindekuh.

After Restaurant blindekuh receives your booking, you will receive an email confirmation. The booking is binding as soon as the city tour you ordered is confirmed again by Restaurant blindekuh by email. By booking such a city tour, a contract is formed between you and Restaurant blindekuh. The general terms and conditions and the booking confirmation form part of this contract.

1. Payment
Payment is made at the end of the city tour in cash, by credit card, or by invoice.

2. Cancellation
You may cancel up to 24 hours before the start of the booked tour at the latest. The cancellation must be made in writing or by email. What counts is when Restaurant blindekuh receives the cancellation notice. The amount paid will be refunded. Cancellations by phone or verbally do not result in the contract being cancelled and cannot be considered.

3. Non-participation without timely cancellation
If you do not participate without having cancelled in writing in good time, the payment made can no longer be refunded.

4. Rebookings
You can rebook up to 24 hours before the start of the city tour at the latest. The first rebooking of an order is free of charge. Each additional rebooking is subject to a processing fee of CHF 25.-.

5. Delays/waiting times of the blind and visually impaired tour guides
In the event of a delay, the duration of the tour will be shortened accordingly. The guides’ waiting time is a maximum of 20 minutes.

6. Cancellation of a tour by blindekuh
If blindekuh has to cancel the tour, the fee will be refunded in full or a new tour will be arranged.

7. Accident or theft
Restaurant blindekuh accepts no liability for theft or accidents during the city tour.

8. Deviating agreements
blindekuh’s tour guides are not authorised to make their own agreements or give assurances that change the content of the contract or go beyond the services promised by blindekuh. Minor deviations in the tour schedule are possible for time reasons.

9. Place of jurisdiction
If differences arising from this agreement cannot be resolved amicably, the court in Zurich shall have jurisdiction to decide on them.
