Our two restaurants provide regular jobs to blind and/or visually impaired people for a fair wage in line with the market. This is a rarity in Switzerland. 
However, compared to normal restaurants or publicly supported enterprises, we are always under financial strain: 

• Our staff costs are much higher than at other culinary establishments.
• The ‘blackout restaurant’ concept makes it virtually impossible to accumulate reserve funds.
• Our two restaurants are not financed by public means.
